Body panels

Post by smiffy 33 »

Where does everyone get bodypanels from or do you just make your own bits to cut out the rust?

Really looking for an S3 front smash panel/slam panel. Not one that's all twisted up really. The sills ill just repair where needed tbh.

Sud or 33 ?

When you say slam panel, do you mean the flat section above the radiator across the front inner wings ?

I think I have a used but good straight sud one.

Yes, I'd get that ship shape no problem.
As Lou says, worse has been done, did a green Sud Ti for Richard a few years ago that was no better. Other brands too! :D

Sorry I meant 33. The panel that the headlights sit in and the panel that the rad sits on.

I've searched, I've only found 1 from Portugal which is SH and the shipping is extortionate

1990 33 1.7 16v Green Cloverleaf. Think that's what it says on the log book. Bought it a few years back from a Alfa specialist who bought it of a guy who used it for track days. I made it road legal. Dreaded rust put it off the road.
