Bosch ign “Green” Lead

Post by LooLooSud33Spider »

Evening all.
With the supply of Bosch’s “Green” ign lead being of almost Unicorn poo status I thought it may be helpful to take a butchers at this “Special” lead in detail.
You can get The 7 pin connector with terminals for the Amp From eBay and the actual green lead is a simple 2 core shielded lead. The only special part of this lead is actually the 2 pin plug in to the Dizzy. But if you get stuck This can probably be Modified with 2 simple connectors
I’ve drawn a simple wiring diagram to show the amp/coil wiring .
I just I need to confirm the Various wire gauges.

I’m currently researchIng the supply of a suitable shielded lead (may not be green) that may mean I can make new ones.
Hope you find this usefull
Lou.

Loads of shielded twin core cables available Lou suggest you get a foil and braid shielded cable. Current requirements will be low. Check out CPC or RS components for ideas...they sell it in bulk mainly but sometimes by the metre.
