Glad you've jacked it off the back axle! I'll sleep better now.

Whats the other side like?

I'm afraid to think that , in the olden days they used to say that cars rusted worst on the near side due to the amount of crud thrown up from the gutter.
That may have changed since we went metric, and joined the Common Market?

Excellent progress.
Just noticed your 33 has the nice early Zender kit . I liked that one more than the smoother , later one.

Well had some time on furlough so back to it. After finishing the sill I started digging in the rear wheel well only to find the chassis leg had really bad rust. I decide to try and do the repair properly and ordered a new chassis leg from Greece. I managed to get my order in before Christmas to beat the brexit charges and post only for it to get stuck in Italy for about a month due to covid. So I'm all ready to go. I chop the leg out and put the new leg up to find the suspension mounting points are all different! Gutted so it's time for plan 2 cut a leg out of the scrap shell on the garden. Thank god for spot weld drills.

It was sold as 905/907 chassis leg. But it has got to be a series 3

Contact the seller and ask for him to pay for the return, and then refund you.

Let us know how you go on!

Sill looks better this side surprisingly! They didn't feel the need for the inner sill metal though last time it was done.
