Funny. I’ve used the same panel to repair my floors, wings ,doors and everything in between 👍

It's amazing how versatile they are for the price. Only problem is they don't fit quite as well as the originals so take a little fettling.

Jack it up using the back axle, or the front cross member.

Otherwise the jack keeps going up, but the car doesn't!

And bin the sill covers.
They might look sexy, but just trap crud and moisture.

I'd never jack an alfa on its sills. On a sud or 33 I would never use the jacking points either. I learnt that lesson years ago 🙄

It's on the suspension connection point. If it was on the sill the jack would be in the car. 😉

Hope your floors are more solid than your sills!
Are you going to be able to repair it?

The MoT guys can't really inspect that with cill covers on.
They used to state that on my old Sud ti with a body kit.

This is what I found when I took the Zender sill cover off my 'get it finished one day' Sprint Veloce. The space between the cover and sill was packed with a build up of damp road dirt.

The floor will need replacing along the sill edges

Bloody hell, thats great progress.

Mix old engine oil with some grease, warm it up when the Mrs is out, pour it in through a wiring hole or wherever, park it up away from your house to drip!

I’m liking the look of that door gap brace. I’ve got to do the offside sill on my MX5 NA which will be at least as bad as the 33 and it’s 10 years younger (mx5s have a terrible sill habit) - where do you get them from and are they dear. I was just going to weld some tube across but I don’t have any tube yet and that looks much neater.

Really neat central sill repair sections, for something that will never be seen that's a real effort making them so neat, fair play to you 8-)

Lovely fabrication going on there mate.
Dinatrol is another product I would recommend for protecting inside your sills. Starts off quite liquidy so sprays in but also causes a good mist so gets everywhere inside your sill cavity . It then semi cures so clings and dribbles out of the seams so no moisture can get a starting point.

Dinitrol is better than Waxoyl.
In very cold weather (remember that) I opened up the sills on a car some years ago, and found the Waxoyl had gone brittle and left gaps where moisture coud get in.
As Keith says, Dinitrol stays runnier.

Morning
You use schultz gun . But the raptor is 2k paint in a schultz bottle. You mix 3-1. But this can be put in gun with a 2mm tip. Then your have more control . I will definitely be using this stuff. But the gravitex is very good too👍

Glad you've jacked it off the back axle! I'll sleep better now.

Whats the other side like?
