Was a very happy bunny yesterday when I bled the clutch and got it to work.
It was a one man job which is not ideal but I (over) filled the reservoir, opened the bleed valve,
I used one of those bleed tube/canister jobs. Used my jack handle to keep the clutch pedal
pressed down, closed bleed valve. Started car tried to get gear got grinding.....
Switched off, started it in first (clutch pressed fully down of course) and hey presto it worked!
Drove it around the yard where it's kept, engaging gears fine.
Then I had to take off both driver's side wheels as they weren't holding pressure.
Went to tyre bay and they resealed them.
Also found the spare wheel securing doo dah, the battery holding bracket and refitted the air intake
duct that goes on top of the bulk head. (As well as getting some 156 and 166 work done).

Sud Rear Seats.JPG
Sud Front Seats.JPG
Did a bit with the Sud last night.
Put GTV front seats in and rears from Alfa 33 Imola.
The fronts only have 2 bolts in (diagonally) and the rear top bit has a drill bit holding the split together
with tie wraps holding it to the receiver (complete cowboy job I know).

Thanks for the Plasbak recommendation (can't remember which of you guys posted it).
I went for the dark grey which TBH isn't that dark but has tidied up what I've sprayed so far very well IMO.
I have more photos if anyone is really interested in seeing more.
I used almost 2 rattle cans for both bumpers, one of the vents by the back door (tips for actual removal very appreciated-want to take the PS one off to paint)
and the air intake 'scoop' from the bonnet)

Nice job . They look a lot better any chance if a pic of the can and more details of the product . Can’t say I’ve heard of Plasbak.
Cheers.

Thanks Kev.
I need to figure out whether I spray the door strips in situ or remove first.
And the trim behind the PS rear door.
I did the driver's side as it's slightly broken and I could lift it to get the newspaper in there

I think the door strips have a hard time laying flat again once removed.
If you spray them on the car then get some fine line masking tape rather than using regular masking to go right up to the edge, it doesn't bleed paint under it like regular stuff does ;)

Quick update, passed our MOT equivalent until August 2021.
I finally got my mechanic to fix the front seats (he welded plates on the bottom and used the original bolts and anchor points).
He also changed the front PS wheel bearing, both track rod ends, fettled and tuned the carbs-it's idling at about 900 odd revs now
