Hi everyone - can anyone confirm the dimensions of the longer of the three studs holding the inlet manifold onto the cylinder head? I need to replace one that is missing. The stud is around 60mm above the cylinder head, with maybe a further 10mm projecting into the cylinder head.
There seems to be any number of vendors selling exhaust studs, which I can understand, but none selling inlet manifold studs that I can find. On the basis that I might have to buy bespoke, does anyone know the main thread/plain shank/secondary thread length, and thread pitch if different at each end?
Any information gratefully received!
Lauren

Had a look here.
Loads of bolts, but no studs.
Try Just studs.

Hi Lauren
When I extended the inlet tract on my 16V heads pretty sure it was just std m8 and I just got a length of all thread.

To actually answer the question, - there is approx 16mm of thread in the head, plus the 60mm that you've measured projecting out of the head, the thread is standard M8 x 1.25.
