1.7 crankcase

I have 1.7 crankcase that the main bearing were rotating in when racing. So we did not use it on my build.

Is it scrap then, or is there a chance would someone be interested at some point ?

Don’t chuck it !!! As long as the journals are still within spec it’ll be fine
I’ve rebuilt engines in the past that have suffered from spun brgs with no problem.

Did some engines get the journals line bored for stronger (Cosworth) mains?

Super, that's what I needed to know. A good reason next time it catches my ankle, not to chuck it.
