I'm on the look out for some front shock absorbers for a 1995 boxer engined 145 if anyone knows of anything

I have a pair of Gabriel struts that I’ve just taken off my twin spark spider. I’m pretty sure they’re the same. There was nothing wrong with them I just prefer Konis

Were the boxer 145's the same as the TS 145's suspension wise?
They used a different subframe I recall, not sure if the struts were like the TS ones or a 33 type item, like the steering rack?
Unless I'm remembering it all wrong...woldn't be the first time!

From my rapidly fading memory the main suspension components were the same on the Boxer cars as on the i4 engined cars. This seems to be backed up by Alfashop listing the lower wishbones as being all the same for boxer or Twin spark engined cars. So the difference is probably in the hub / strut design.
Look at these photos of my new Konis and see how they compare to your 145s. They are identical in design to the Gabriel’s.
