Hi Guys
Quick question. Does anyone know if repair kits are available for the suds rear brake regulator. It sits in the body box that the panhard rod attaches to and the curly spring rod acts on it . It’s a simple piece of kit and easily rebuildable if you can get it apart without damage. it only has 3 internal O rings and a small external boot.
In the past we just renewed them when they seized up but they’re getting hard to find now and pricey if you can find one.
Regards
Lou

Re: Brake Regulator
I asked one of the brake repair people about doing one up and sadly the cost was the same as the ones seen for sale.

Re: Brake Regulator
Hi Junior.
It’s not a particularly complex unit. As usual the problem is getting suitable seals. Most Brake seals are made from EPDM spec rubber. As this is safe to use with brake fluid. (Except some Citroen and Rolls Royce)

Re: Brake Regulator
I think I'd rather have a rebuilt one with new seals, than an old stock one.
Powertrack might help.
Or maybe sudshop might look into rebuilt ones. New ones very thin on the ground now.

Re: Brake Regulator
I had to speak to Paul at Powertrack about something else.
He says try www. casafreno.it
Contact Fabrizio Mazzini

Re: Brake Regulator
As mentioned by some it's probably safer to have a rebuilt one than a NOS one that's been on the shelve for the past 40 years.
