Daves placed the order so we’re in their hands . If delivery is anything like communication I’d expect to see some tanks in a couple of months .

Its currently taking ATP at least week to reply.
I sent the money in the evening of 9th May, so probably not in their system until 10th May.
1200 euros was taken from my credit card on 11th May.
So,hoping for a positive response this week.

Please make sure ATP pack the tanks properly.
I purchased one two years ago for my Super resto when they were first listed on Ebay under Alfa 33. It was covered on this Forum at the time.
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1437&p=18206&hilit= ... ank#p18206
They come in a medium weight box which has no additional protection around the tank. Quite vulnerable to impact damage in my opinion. I was lucky last time as tank survived, but it was a bit of a miracle.
Ten tanks will need to be placed on several pallets I would have thought, with extra packaging surrounding them. We don't want to receive 10 x damaged tanks given the amazing effort that has gone into bulk buying them for such a good price :o

I sent the 1200 euros last week to info@atp-autoteile.de
The money has been taken from my credit card, and the transaction shown as completed on my Paypal statement.

So,yesterday they email and say I should have sent the money to
onlinepayment@atp-autoteile.de

This is after approx 5 weeks of communication with them!

I told them I had already sent the money, so they asked for the Paypal transaction Id, which I have sent.

Hopefully they will find the money in their system.
Watch this space.

Thanks for the update Dave. I’m sure they’re a proper company and it’ll all be ok . It’s just a shame they seem to be a lacking in the communication department.

ATP have told me I need to place an order with them, to comply with their system.

They sent me an order in German with no price mentioned, but with a Paypal link.

This link asks me for 3,153.05 euros for ten tanks!!

I've sent them the Paypal id number for the 1200 euros I've already sent them....but no reply yet.

Very difficult people to deal with.

@alfadave, 2 weeks ago I tried to call them to find out how I would need to finish the payment, no way I could get through the waiting line. I wonder if this company is a 2 man hobby project outside of a normal job. They have a good score on E-Bay and they accept PayPal so from a worry point of view it should be no issue, however from a customer friendliness point of view there is room for improvement :?

It looks like these tanks are back on sale at their previous lower price and can be purchased via a normal ebay transaction

TBH. It’s been a bit of an ordeal for Dave and all of us that embarked on the group buy. I’m sure Dave will update everyone in the fullness of time but I ordered one on Wednesday afternoon but as yet have not been informed of its despatch. Meanwhile I’ve retired to the PUB to reflect on the whole sorry saga .

I sent 1200 euros to ATP on 9th May for ten tanks.
Nothing has arrived!

ATP have stopped replying to my emails.

So,I've returned the money to the people who wanted tanks, and have got Paypal, and RBS my credit card company on the case.

Early this week, ATP dropped their ebay price to £77.60

I'm aware that at least 2 CAF members have ordered tanks at this price.

I hope they will confirm they have taken delivery ok......until then, I would suggest that others tread warily!

Normally the ebay seller would advise when an item has been dispatched?

I ordered one this week and it is marked despatched also.
Fingers crossed the photo of the tank in the ebay listing isn’t actual size...

Got my 1200 euro refund today at last.....had to get Paypal to rattle their cage!

They seem to have delivery problems.....hope the ordered tanks arrive soon.
I bought one in 2016, and it fitted ok.....just had to blank off the extra FI pipe.

Glad to hear you've got the tank ok.

Its unlikely that the opportunity to buy a new tank for £77 will come up in the future?

Mine has been delivered too and that price including delivery is a bit of a bargain. I’m thinking of passing it to a local specialist to see if I can get a copy fabricated in Aluminium and will post back once I know the score. Bearing in mind it has taken me 8 years to get my car back on the road I wouldn’t hold my breath over a response peeps...
