Compomotive MS 1360 or 1370

Post by Veesix75 »

I'm looking for a pair or set of compomotive MS in 6 inch (pair) or 7 inch set of 4.

Here's a pic to help identify them. Thanks

Hi any particular reason why this style of rim?
If you can't buy a pair and want to sell then let me know?

I have some 7j x 13 but they are minilite style and are two slightly different styles.

I use these rims on the racer, they are very light hence perfect for the racing and look good, I only need 2 of the 6J to make another set of 4 up for the next 'project'. I'd like some 7 inch if possible so I can fit some chunky retro rubber but if not then the 6J will do.

Thanks, the pcd on those will be 108, so might be too much for wobble bolts on the Alfa pcd 98.

The older fords are 108, newer ones 100 I think so 100 pcd with wobble bolts might work on the suds.

Careful here Tim

There are very few 4 stud Fords that have anything other than the 4 x 108mm pcd, in fact it's possibly limited to just a few later cars that they have built off borrowing other platforms, such as the mazda car for the festa, and the fiat 500 for the kack i believe.

any 4 stud traditionally ford, is almost guaranteed to be 4 x 108 i'm afraid Tim.

4 x 100mm pcd is commonly found on many early vauxhalls, vw, renaults, and some jap stuff too, but be careful as always, theres the odd curve ball!

Hi Tim
Are they the ones in leominster?
If they are i could collect for you? it's only 40mins from me. I would then be at donnington on march 4th.
Let me know because it that's of no interest to you I might bid myself.

Doh ! Double Doh!

I didn't see your offer Ade, I emailed the seller but no reply. They were at a tenner Friday.

Thanks anyhow Ade, appreciated. I might just console myself by hanging on for some 4 * 100 Compo Turbos

Sure i'd found some of those for sale in the week Tim,

i'm always on the look out for the stupidly rare 15" versions, which i think were a special order but they were made just in tiny tiny numbers.

the 13's do come up from time to time, no bargains, everyone knows what they have and the buyers are lined up waiting, and regrettably in ford patterns again most commonly, but if you find some split rims with the right centres but wrong inner/outer sections, let me know, i have some reasonable contacts that will trade those parts rather than you having to buy new image barrels etc

if you're not careful, before you know it, you have £2000 wheels on your car!

Trust me!

There are 5 wheels. All look straight and round, shod in old racing tyres which are a bit perished. Paint job is a 10 footer.

Mike, just seen your first post, I'll take them no problem, would your mate be ok if I picked them up in a few weeks. I'm in Notts but will be in Slough in a few weeks so could head over to Bracknell in the evening ?

Sent you my number so we can discuss if easier ?

Thanks Tim
