This was blueprinted by Specialist Engine Services, and paired with Dellorto DRLA 36 Carbs for use in a Hillclimb and Sprint race car, which was then owned by a well known AROC Member, contact Alfa campaigner and enthusiast, who would rather remain anonymous due to his Police/Prison Officer background.
The race car was damaged in a sprint incident, so the engine was pulled out to affect repairs that sadly never happened, so the engine should be as it was when last used. Regularly turned over, oiled, and promised to me as a good performer.
The Dellorto carbs are clean and free and similarly cared for, with a blank plate to keep dust and dirt out.
These carbs sell very very well on fleabay on their own, so when i invite offers on price, please don't take the Mickey! ha ha!
I need to find one cam cover, after it was removed for inspection purposes, and then either distractions or the ghost of all things tool like and useful has struck again!
