Only 10 minutes away from me so got to be worth a look
I do have a Greencloverleaf body shell that’s been in dry storage for about 10 years but there’s no interior trim, bumpers etc so these could be a good source if they are rotten
I will let all on here know what the condition is like

I just checked how long I have had that body shell - turns out it was March 1999 !
Would be nice to see another car back on the road

How time flies

Well these have picked up a bit ! Currently at £2350. I think they will break the £2500 + Gary O has been to view and from what he’s told me sadly they are very rotten. One has potential but will need a lot of work and parts. And the 2nd one is too far gone so is likely to break in two as its moved. So is most defo parts only.
Is anyone on the forum bidding on them ?

Hopefully they get used to get a couple of others back on the road, or someone manages to properly restore one of them.

Be interesting to see if NGC 31Y or A547 GVT ever show back up on the road.

Stuff, especially project stuff, is going mad. A friend very recently paid £3k for a very rough Fulvia coupe, about 5 years ago he turned down a very similar conditioned one for £500..
I sold VJM 10 years ago for £3,500 which at the time was decent money..

I think the Y reg one will be back on the road again but I will be very surprised if the A reg one ever does
Even with both cars would not have a very nice interior as both were poor

My worry with cars like this and the recent boom in modern classics is that they end up in the hands of someone who will fibreglass them up, give them a nice looking paint job and stick them back up at £10k to cash in. Rather than going to an enthusiast who will do or get it done properly.

Well said Harry. That is a problem and with the 40yr MOT exemption rule it make it easier for them to create shiny death traps .

Looks like those 2 cars will fall to bits just getting them on the trailer!

Well NGC31Y has just re-emerged on EBay currently in at £7100 .

I meant to check if that was one of these cars as the reg looked familiar.

Yep, I went back and had a look. Hard to tell from the original auction which cars were which, seeing as they haven’t even bothered swapping the broken light cover over I don’t know that they’ve done any repairs at all other than maybe swap a few parts from the donor, give it a polish and take some better photos.
