Any takers on my 33?

Post by PETROLHEAD »

Hi all

Having collected too many cars for too little space (again!) its time to try and make some room so i can get on with things, and sadly that means parting with the Series 3 16 Valve Cloverleaf 33.

Some of you may know the car, and it was once destined for a new life on the road with Matt, but plans change for everyone from time to time, and long story short here it is available to buy, as a 90% finished car and easy project to complete.

The car and parts are of course complete and all present, and by memory the details and subtle modifications are as follows

Series 3 16 Valve 33 Cloverleaf
H Reg, none catalyst full power car
Factory fitted tilt and slide sunroof
Sub 42k miles from new, supportive paperwork and history
Freshly Serviced and Belted Engine
Documented very minor body repairs to sill end, fuel filler, jack point etc
Very solid car, not filler
Freshly painted Frozen White, not seen the road since
Flush S2 Door Handles
Koni Shocks, H & R springs (30mm lower)
18" Team Dynamics Pro-Race Alloys (New)
OR
16" Speedlines (Alfa 155 style)
Flared & Formed wheel arches
Standard Manifold, Stainless Steel Performance System
"Aircraft" styled fuel filler
Restored Alcantara Recaro's
Custom Stereo, Head Unit, Amplifier, Speakers and Floor Subwoofer
One Off Veloce Front Bumper (AHM Styled)
and undoubtedly more that i have forgotten about over the 10ish years of ownership!

To finish it off, it will require the Bonnet, veloce side skirts, rear spoiler, grill, custom bumper painting, these are mostly primed and ready to paint, subsequent fitting to the car.

The door shuts, and window frames want completing in the satin black i'd started.

Door cards and small trim install needed internally only

Recommission and/or Bleed of the brakes, ready for MOT.

The car is a running and rolling vehicle, and one of the most solid 33's i've ever come across, and with a genuine sub 42k miles on it, it has to be one of the most attractive cars for this spring.

An easy finish for someone with time on their hands rather than heaps of cash required, it will make a brilliant and unique rare 33! :P

Looking for offers in excess of £3500 as it sits, easily worth in excess of around £6k when finished, if not more by this summer, getting rarer and rarer and this is built to last many more years of appreciating yet.

Only selling at all because other projects require the space and my time.

Feel free to private message me or loosely discuss on here until it comes to the financials! ;)

Sorry Lou, I don't mean to tease, honest! :D

JB, I thought you might have something to say about the 18s :P

They do however look more suiting than I ever imagined they would, I thought it'd be over wheeled, but it's not, especially when it's wearing its skirts etc

16s and 17s both suited it too, but I just couldn't stop trying wheels!

Things are pressing a little in the space department, so this summer I could really do with seeing this one sold.

I'm paying for storage for another car and need the space back, something has to give so are their any interested parties here?

Suggestions welcome...

Thanks

Shrew
