I bought the shell from Veesix75 in June 2016, so has been 2.5 years in the process.

But it was stuck at the welder/paint guy's for 18 months when he got ill.

So, a year of my time......must try harder!

Anyway, it passed the MoT today, with a couple of advisories on front wheel bearing and track rod end....a surprise, as that was new.

I asked the guy to do the tracking, but his equipment wasn't available....will have to go somewhere else.

But the main thing was, it drove straight for the couple of miles to the MoT station and back.

So,its taxed (£155 Gulp!) and up and running!

Great result Dave, will she be exempt next year?

Yes,tax and MoT exempt from 1st Feb 2020.
Emissions were ok.

Had the tracking done today.....4 wheel laser tracking.....its cock on!
Thats a good result for a car thats been in a front end shunt!

I did check some chassis rail diagonals with Tim and Steve, when I first viewed it, and all seemed fine, but todays result finally confirms that.

Looks great, this whole thread reminds me of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang a bit, but I hope you never have to test if it can fly or not :)

Someone said that if it had been a 328 , not 329,

a Ferrari owning legal beagle would have paid loads for the reg!

I'm thinking I should sell my Alfasud.
Its not used often enough, and has to sit outside all year. Which of course doesn't help the bodywork. But quite solid structurally.

Still quite reliable, and has an MoT until October.

I've no idea how much its worth though......prices seem to quite high, due to rarity value I suppose.

That’s Sad news Dave. But I completely understand. I’d take some decent pics from every angle and post them with a guide tk your price expectation. It’s a tough market at the moment with all the other pressures in everyone’s household finances.
