1985 Sprint Green Cloverleaf 1.5
I need the garage space so I'm selling my Sprint. It's in silver, has inboard brakes, green carpet, pepperpot alloys, 2 previous owners. It runs well but needs attention to the bodywork. Last MOT 2004.Thought I'd see if any CAF members are in the market for bringing a Sprint back to life. My Sud Ti is coming back from the bodyshop in May so something has to go! Open to offers, PM me for more info, thanks.

Hi, as a new member I can't PM you. Could you please reply here, or email me at triffclarke@btinternet.com
How much welding is required for an MOT? I can see from the photos the OSF wing looks like it needs replacing, what about the NSF? Are the doors saveable? How are the suspension and brakes? When was the cam belt last done, and do you have receipts for other work? Finally, where abouts are you - I'm in Sheffield. Sorry for long list of public questions. Thanks, Triff

Hi Triff, thanks for the interest but I've sold the Sprint. She had rotten wings and doors and probably some corrosion to the wing rails but the floor was amazing, never welded, completely solid. My Sud Ti is due back anytime so I needed the space...my conservatory is littered with Ti interior and trim and couldn't take Sprint debris! Cheers.

Hi triff I know someone that is selling a series 2 alfa 33 1.7 sportswagon that needs a little bit of work , car comes with leather interior and he is after 450 for it.
They are quite rare now but not sure if it's what your looking for but definitely worth restoring.

Re: 1985 Sprint Green Cloverleaf 1.5
Hi Alfasuddriver - Ok, thanks for letting me know. My first Alfa was an '83 Sprint Veloce, so I have a soft spot for them. I'm viewing an Alfetta GTV this weekend so my garage may soon be overflowing as well.
Pat - thanks for the heads up on the 33. I wasn't aware of that forum. Styling-wise I never really loved the 33 (or 75) though I'm learning to appreciate them a bit more. Leather interiors are always good, and a reasonable price too. Will have to have a think, and see how I get on this weekend.
Cheers, Triff
