Alfa Championship at Silverstone 18th/19th October

Post by BS25 »

This is the last round of this years Championship, being held on the International Circuit at Silverstone. There is a very good entry so far with 10 cars in the modified classes including my 33 and two others. Here's the timetable for the 2 days:-

Scrutineering 08:00 – 08:30 Sat
Qualifying 09:30 – 20mins Sat
Race 1 14:05 – 20mins Sat
Race 2 14:45 – 20mins Sun

The rest of the meeting will be entertaining with several Caterham categories also racing. Some of those guys have got some serious money and amongst the drivers cars in the paddock were an Alfa 8C, Porsche GT and a McLaren P1 - all owned by the same guy.......

Myself and Shrew will be there Saturday and Sunday, if you fancy coming please stop by and say hello, look at the cars, etc. Here's a link to the Alfa Championship event page, you'll see a full timetable on it with details of the other races. Please note that we are based in the F1 pit and paddock area over in the 'Wing' complex.

Good luck for the weekend.

Silverstone international is a great circuit, although I havnt been since 2007 so it might have changed slightly?

Sounds like a good entry of modifieds.
