Hi Shrew,

Rosso Red, i decided to bite the bullet and
hand it over to the professionals, otherwise
it would never get done, not enough hrs in the week.

Can,t wait to see the end result, will be a few weeks.
Had to laugh the company is called Autolac in Horwich,
Father and Son, the old boy reckoned he repaired 100,s
of suds back in the day, they used to ship them up from
Westune in a sorry state, Westune was based a mile away,
they were a main dealer in the 70,s. Peter West. the old boy at autolac
reckoned the young fella was mad for taking on my sud and i must have
to much spare time and money, i wish.

Hello Malcolm,

Hoping to do some testing later in the year,

Passed my ards test in Jan, did a track day at Angelsey weekend
before last with some private tuition and tested my Saxo, looking at competing in
a few tin top races this season with the Saxo, ready for next year with the Sud.

Thanks for the interest

Hi Liam,
Fantastic. Another racing Sud and another new driver.
Great colour and looks like it is going to be seriously lightweight.
You are going to have a lot of fun racing that.
All the best,
Simon

That looks great, very well finished. :D Takes a lot of time and effort, but that looks like it will be well worth while.

Like the Alfasud down the side to educate the masses.

Very nice .

Coincidently I ordered some very similar stripes for mine last week, same location on the sides but not white !

Your car could run in the ctcrc pre 83, it would be very competitive with that motor. Same series Simon and Malcolm are doing.

I wouldn't go in tin tops with it, too many clios and such like. Much better to go up against the cars of its era.

Hi,

Finally got the sud out of the garage, only a few bits and pieces
left to finish, looking for your opinions on the front lower spoiler,
it’s a fiberglass of the original S1 spoiler in one piece, imam
not so sure it fits right with the rest of the car and may be I
should have used a series 3 (modified) ? :x

No pics.......?

But from the font on pic above, it looks spot on to me.

I think the s1 style spoilers are better looking than the s3 or 2 especially bumper less . I prefer the slightly more retro look.

Same opinion from me, the s1 spoiler is a cleaner finish. The s3 spoiler looks less tidy on a bumper less car.

Do a full side profile photo.

I wouldn't fit s3 spoilers.
