Croft - 6th/7th July

Post by BS25 »

We are heading to Croft with the 33 this weekend - looks like we will have a few Boxsters for company in a combined grid with an ailing Porsche championship - flat 4 v flat 6!

Good luck Bryan, could be a win for you, depends how quick the integrale is.

The arca grids look to be struggling, just 13 listed as entries including the lancia ?

Correction, the chap with the integrale has entered an uno turbo instead. Looks like a win then Bryan :D

Thanks Simon. I led from the start, got the tyres warm, established a gap then backed off and kept it sensible for a finish (and win). All went to plan until the last corner of the last lap when the pinion shed it's teeth - though I had enough momentum (and time in hand) to roll over the line for the win!

See here for a video:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMM83icp6B4&t=17s

See the classifieds for 'wanted - 4.11 crown wheel and pinion'!

Now that is how you start and finish a race !!
Sorry she broke on you Bryan, strange how it let go when you were taking it easier rather than a full on "race for the line".
Hope you can fix her quickly and be back on track.

Thanks for putting the video up.
Very nicely done.
I have got to learn a good heal and toe technique like.
