I completely understand the function over form statement.

8.30 is an impressive time for the Nordschleife. How often do you visit the Ring? I'm planning to go over for a few days late summer.

For many years I race in a series which holds her runnings almost exclusively on the Ring. So I know the Ring quite well.
My best lap time with a 1600 16V engine was 8:38 min, so 8:30 min should be a realistic target..

Thanks Jan, yes, there was a story in Oldtimer Markt 09/2012 about motorsports for beginners.
They introduced the racing series RCN and my car.
