Thanks guys it's been a bit of a tough install as I've used a sprintex unit from an 8v kit we had lying around
Of course the manifold is no use for a 16v so I had to fabricate it all by hand . I consider it a prototype at this stage and we're hoping to be out at Oulton in March.

John I'm looking for a full set of plastic arches for a S3 ti in good order can you help.?

The ARCA Cadwell weekend is May 6/7 - it will be good to have another 33 out there with me! :)

As well as the Arca event at cadwell, the ctcrc is at cadwell in either may or June, your 33 could run in thunder saloons. The ctcrc allow you to do a weekend entry without joining the full club.

There's some powerful stuff in it, but I'm sure you could be mid field at least with the weight advantage. Adie Hawkins an Lee Penn run their 33's near the font of the grid.

Your car looks great.

Lovely looking car.
Tom & Bryan (BS25) used a Sprintex Supercharger on a boxer engine. I bet they have some great advice if you need it.

Brgds,
Simon

Sweet car indeed! I like the wheels. Any info about them?

The wheels are Team Dynamics Pro Race. 1.2 in 9x17 with a set of knackered old BTCC slicks . I really need a new set for those wheels but theyll be best part of a grand as SH ins are now a bit scarce since BTCC went to 18s

Thanks for replying. I dig them! I'm looking for ideas since I'm planning to upgrade my wheels.

Just beacause they're home made doesn't mean they're no good . they're simple but effective and cost me about £0.0 pence

Hi Liam. Only reason i mentioned it is i havent raced it for 3 years and Im just looking for ideas/ encouragment from like minded friends as to what to do with it . I love the car and have had a hell of a lot of fun in it in the past. Ive owned it since 95 ( 3 shells ago) some of the options im lookingbat are .
A) Remove the blower and fit Turbo.
B) build a higher spec NA 16v engine using some Lahoma cams ive got .
C) break the car and sell some bits off it and use other bits on my Sud.

All ideas welcome

Hi Lou,

i,am sure you are aware the suds modified or not allways
seem to fetch more dollars, if i was you, i would be keeping the sud has standard
as possible, thats a rare car a 1350ti S3?

If you looking for a buyer for the 33 shell give me a shout,
i have race running gear, engine and box for it.

Liam

What kind of power has it got ? You could try it in the CTCRC thunder saloons. The big stuff in Thunder Saloons are massive BHP but I think there are classes throughout so you wouldn't be out gunned.

If team Jeffs are in pre 83 again, plus Ted and possibly Liam, and I am trying to do more next year then at least there are a group of Alfa's to park up with. Without the supercharger it might fit into Pre 93 with a few concessions.

It is far too nice and rare to break up.
