It’s 1973. Dad (on the left)& Westunes sales Manager John Myerscough are down at the Alfa’s UK launch event for their Brand new Alfasud.
OTC 10M went on to be Dads Company car and the first Alfasud to be seen on the road in Bolton.

Lovely picture Lou.
Was the sud received well? In the dealerships?
Must have been a real boost to sales...

What a great photo, there is something about black and white.
That little Sud had a good number plate, I would have been seven years old and SLADE would have been on the radio if it had one fitted. Happy days.

Re: Brand new Sud
I was 8 and i meant to say OTC 10M was Red. I remember Dad taking me to school in his Brand new car . I thought it was Awesome Im pretty sure it didn’t have a radio as std. cars rarely did back then. As a kid hanging round the garage during holidays I remember seeing various specialists coming in regularly to fit Sun roofs, vinyl tops and radios to new Cars . Eventually we did radio installs in house I even fitted a few sunroofs I can tell you I’ve never been so nervous as I was just before cutting a big hole in the roof of a brand new car that’s where i learnt the lesson of measure twice (or thrice) and cut once. I was partial to the Bay city rollers

Very modern for 1974, I think we had a Humber hawk, probably cost a fiver at the time....

I used to work for a Land Rover dealership, and we used to sometimes be asked to fit sunroofs to the Discovery's. Some opted for the twin roof option and some just the bigger single.
Our store man was a bit of a prankster and once swapped the roof so when the fitter collected the kit and used the correct template for the order the look of horror when the roof was too small was priceless. The store man had told some of us what he had done so we were all secretly watching and waiting for the moment when he tried the roof in the hole.
