Picked up my New addition to the fleet .
Sadly it won’t be with me long as I’m probably going to break it.
Hadn’t been run for 7-8 years but I inspected the belt and removed the plugs to check all the turny bits turned and get oil pressure up
Then decided to give it a go . It runs MINT!!! And sounds superb . I really don’t want to break it but I can’t justify taxing,Mot’ing and insuring another car besides I need the engine and box as spares.

Looks real tidy....is the underside any good?

Be a shame for it to be broken, but guess if you've earmarked the running gear....

Hi kev I’ve been told by the guy I got it off that the underside is not bad.
Apparently It’s had work done in the past. It’s even got a full set of Konis and lowered springs and a full Raggazon exh system.
I’ll check it out over the next few weeks and and decide its fate. Sadly it’s not just down to me. As we already Tax , Mot and insure 4 (will be 5 when the Suds done ) of our 7 cars already so I’m struggling to justify to Charlotte that we need another road car.

Could always sell it...
