I always preferred Reliant's four-wheeled offerings myself (well the SE5a at any rate). Reliant had some great ideas but unfortunately none of them ever went into production. The FW7 was a 2-seat mid-engine car with really sharp styling and a drivetrain inspired by the Countach (gearbox ahead of the engine and hi-vo chain drive to the rear differential), a Ferguson Formula 4WD Scimitar was developed with a Ford V8 and there was also a 4-wheel version of the Bond Bug, which apparently handled like a go-kart!
