Re: My sud project
Looking good, it's motivating me to crack on with mine and get it on the road... It's been mothballed for about 5 years now
Re: My sud project
Thanks kammatic. Your car looks pretty good shouldn't take much to get it back on the road
Re: My sud project
Cheers, she's had a fair bit done..
Is that a 33 rear axle under there? Have you gone out board front brakes and using the 33 axle / brakes / handbrake?

Re: My sud project
Yes it's got a 33 rear end. The front is still standard. I preferred the hand brake on the back. It was a lot more fun in weather like what we are having at the moment.

Nicely done.

And all done from the top so no weld burns! That's always a bonus.Kegsti66 wrote:Nicely done.

Re: My sud project
Looking at the photo, you wouldn't think the sud and 33 were basically the same car underneath?
Re: My sud project
No you wouldn't. The sud looks tiny.

Re: My sud project
I used to rally a Sud. I've rallied a 33 since 1994. Didn't think there was as much difference as the pic shows. Wife has got a 147 and that makes the Sud
look like a pedal car!

Re: My sud project
The sud is a little further back so looks smaller. It's looking way high compared to the 33 though. The 33 is lowered a lot but I wouldn't have thought that much.rsfruitbat wrote:I used to rally a Sud. I've rallied a 33 since 1994. Didn't think there was as much difference as the pic shows.
