Thanks
Keeping it clean and tidy is my therapy at night once the kids have gone to bed.

Not the Fetta from Yorkshire. From Australia. I should update my profile with my location

Yeah they go well together
Its a toss up if I prefer the front or rear wheel drive best!

I'd feel honoured and privileged to be pulled over by a 75.

Love the quirky dash of the early ones, with the rev counter only in front of the driver. Nice car, is it a constant battle with rust, or is the climate kind to it over there?

Climate is kind over here but it was given a full rust proofing treatment when first purchased then when I got it I had a bit of rust removed from the rear hatch and rear window edges and then given another treatment to all inner surfaces with a wax based rust proofing. It also very rarely goes out in the rain and is always garaged. Bit of a garage queen really but when it does get driven it gets a good run. Was a 6 hour round trip to Auto Italia and it ran like a dream. Even got a little wet on the way home through a shower of rain, but dried it off and fish oiled the inner guards behind the stone guards when I got home. I guess you have to love the old alfettas to keep them in one piece

I owned a tatty late model one for a year, it had rust starting in most places, so constant battle to keep in good nick in the UK, a nice dry garage is essential.

The Aussie version has the speedo in front of the driver, not like the Italian version with the rev counter, they have the right idea. Some people over here have converted them over.
