I'll be there and hope to bring my Race Sud - Duxford is only around 15 miles away from me. Spent hours and hours in there when my lad when through his planes mad phase!

Gave the Sud a clean and a polish after Shrew kindly brought it home for me from Tom's (BLS) after a service and then couldn't resist taking it for a spin around the lanes near my house.

Morning all, Can't commit to the Oulton Park Event yet as I am having the Sud serviced by Tom at BLS (who else?). I dropped it off last night after the very wet Cadwell Track Day. It's done 3 races and 3 track days so it's having the shells replaced and belts, brake pads and a thorough going over so...

I hope so! i'm just about to leave home with the Sud all loaded up on the trailer. I'm meeting Jamie Porter at Huntingdon, he's bringing a 4C and another mate who's bringing a Lotus.

Weather looks awful but the club house will be OK and we'll all have to be careful.

Shrew, I still have two 16 valve heads lurking at the back of my garage complete with carb manifolds. I can't see that I will ever get around to doing anything on that project so if anyone wants them they can have them.

I have 1 passenger wrist band for someone to use and yes you can buy on the day for £10. Crash helmets can be hired but I will have a spare that people can use if needed.

Shrew, Re: The noise issue - Noise is exponential - so 112 Db is massively louder than 102 and stuffing some waddding in a tailpipe wouldn't make 10dbs difference so I tend to agree with your comment about the miss-reading marshall! Just booked Mr Porter in with his 4C and noticed it's now £99 for the day. Without sounding like I work for Opentrack (which I don't) - I don't think you can get better value than that for a day at Cadwell, with free drinks and snacks and free photos chucked in! So, who have we definately got booked...
