33 front hubs

I'm in need of a pair of front hubs and mounting bolts for my series 2 33 qv . I've raised the car this weekend with 35mm lowering springs to make it more drivable only to find the bolts for the huds are a mess and cross threaded in some cases.

The filler cap was picked up on the mot as an advisory so thought I better sort it. Still some work to do but not bad for a days work.

A the moment I've got a 147 1.6 53 plate 90000 miles. It's coming up for it's mot in a few months. It will need a front arm, possibly a back box and a little bit of welding to the rear sill other than that it solid . It's a 2 door car with Aircon and sunroof. I only use it very occasionally. It would be reasonably easy to weld in. My problem is the colour is hand mixed with a pearl. So will be very hard to match.

Like your car, filler cap area had rotted out , so when I replaced the sills, wheel arches, tailgate and back panel I grafted in the filler flap and box from an Alfasud Sprint that was scraped. I also used the plastic filler pipe to connect it to the fuel tank. I've got a repair panel to go in . I'...

Sill looks better this side surprisingly! They didn't feel the need for the inner sill metal though last time it was done.

Yes, they must have a huge current draw so I did expect it to trip out the shed at least, but it worked so kept going! The copper arms do get very hot though so you have to be careful where you grab it or put your forearms across it! When it said 6kw that's nearly 30 amps. It must not be blowing th...
