You two just blow me away with your commitment and drive to get these jobs moved along.
Fantastic work you are both doing, and it is as if you are sharing a workshop and spurring each other along.
No corners cut, just thorough attention to quality and detail.
First class. :geek:

Re: LooLoos projects.

Nice bit of kit there Lou, I would love to be able to use one of them. My Dad was an engineer and when I was a kid he used to take me into work on a Saturday (probably to give my Mum a break) and I used to love all the equipment they had there, didn't know what they did but just liked the environmen...

Re: general chat thread

What you need to remember is that safety regulations have made so much more requirements needed, the structure of modern cars is so involved, and we all expect powered devices , windows, seats, etc. It all adds up and this new wave of EV,s are probably still partly current construction designs modif...

 love the throttle set up Kev, talk about around the houses.
Didn't realise it had a single, triple choke carb on it, a bit like the Lambo Miura X4. The one we have at work has three twin chokes i think.
Hope she frees up for you.

You two are doing great work on these future classic Alfas.
Looking at your engine photo Kev, I can't believe I once replaced a plenum manifold on my GTV while the engine was still in the car.
Keep up the great work, both of you :D

Re: general chat thread

Totally with you guys on this touchy subject. The stupid mirror gimmick is beyond belief. As you say you have to make more of a conscious look to view it than when a mirror was on the door. l also hate led running lights that don't also illuminate the rear of a car, basically anything fitted that ca...

Scary thought is that the owner could have been riding someone's rear bumper with a trailer of kit and something ahead happened and all hell would have broken loose.

Re: SPRINT RESURRECTION

:? Just noticed, your car has the blacked-out trims and not polished stainless so that does tend to lean towards a full black out.

Re: SPRINT RESURRECTION

I am with John on the colour. Paint it all green, if you really don't like it and want some contrast, you can paint the black over the green. If you start with the black applied, it is more involved to rectify, trust me I know. :geek: Sorry to hear the Muppets have lost your fuel tank, hope by some ...

Scary that the block was worse than the head mate.
Let's face it, it is not often the engine is completely stripped down like yours.

Re: SPRINT RESURRECTION

Great to see the car now in primer. A lovely job done by the metal fabricators, and now the attention to detail continues with the pre paint preparation. People often do not realise what is involved in getting to this next stage and the next one.
Great work.
