Could you imagine being a designer given a brand new SZ and being told to be creative and left alone. Then finally being asked to present your project to all the big wigs.
The response as you pull back the cover, then the deathly silence.......

Well Tony, you have really struck gold there.
Is there a description of what it is? Looks like someone had a crashed Ford Puma and tried to make the front look a bit SZ with Vauxhall Calibra headlights.

Nice one Lauren, shame you had to pull the old engine.
So are you fitting your old carbs off the other engine, hence the new jets?
Fingers crossed for a successful first start.

Nice shots of the Sprint, and the Bertie.
Great to hear you are really happy with the finished result. The GTV interior has grafted into the car well. Top work.
Enjoy your labours.

You have done it again Tony, Only got the Volvo, and that was before realising it was written on the lens.V40?
The filler cap in the grill I recognise , but can't place.
The bonnet bulge reminds me of of a first gen Celica Supra (late 1980's)
Can I get half a point for spotting the Jenson Interceptor?

Good luck with the sale James, sad to loose a member of the community but lets hope the new owner appreciates the work you put in, saving this special car.
Thanks for sharing your journey.
Good luck with your replacement car, post us a picture. I presume it is a classic DS you are talking about

A great reward for all your hard work when a younger generation appreciates it.

Sorry guys , not much good here.
With the taper on the quarter panel I agree with the Fiat 124 filler flap and the Escort mk1,
I thought maybe a tvr with the bonnet lever, but not sure. Repeater looks Italian?
No idea on the vent.
