Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Circlip
Thanks for the tip.....I have to do this job soon.
I used to jam a piece of wood on the rear of the alternator to hold the slave cylinder in place......and then loosen the gearbox bolts a little to give some wiggle room.
Your method sounds a little easier!

Re: Front struts
Thanks for that.
I'm actually fitting used struts to another car,so wasn't able to do the marking up.
I'll have to support the car and unbolt and lower the spring.
Then turn the unit to check the orientation.

Front struts
Are the bellows on the front struts an MOT fail item? I have a good one, and a torn one on the other side. So,was thinking of removing both of them completely. Looking at the rear shocks ,there are no bellows there,so can the fronts be discarded? Also anyone got a rule of thumb for fitting the front...

Re: Sprint S3 Relay wanted
Steve,
You can get new relays cheaply.
Have a look at Vehicle Wiring Products website/ catalogue.
You need to give them the pin layout and the numbers on the relay.

Re: Sud 2 door shells
I have to admit having bought it. I've had suds as daily drivers for 20 years.......and since selling a sprint a couple of years ago, have been suffering withdrawal symptoms without one. So Tims ex racer is going to become a daily hack. I started making a list of stuff I need for it....... But put si...

Just come back from holiday in Puglia.......the "heel" of Italy. Plenty of old type Fiat 500's still driving about there. But never saw a Sud. However, speaking to a local guy,he said to look on line, and they can still be picked up for reasonable prices. Then, drive it home, and convert it to RHD if yo...
