Don't forget to apply some Loctite when fastening the inner hexagon head bolts!
I would second this as a ti I had and subsequently sold on once dropped the 6 bolts out at low speed!

Ant twin carb Sud I've owned I've never used choke to start it with.
A few pumps of the throttle pedal before start up works fine for me

Re: 1984 Gold Cloverleaf Sud Resto

Quick update, passed our MOT equivalent until August 2021. I finally got my mechanic to fix the front seats (he welded plates on the bottom and used the original bolts and anchor points). He also changed the front PS wheel bearing, both track rod ends, fettled and tuned the carbs-it's idling at abou...

Interesting thread re tyre age.
Here in the Republic of Ireland, our MOT equivalent (NCT) gives an
advisory for tyres over 6 years old regardless of condition.

Gorgeous Sud Adam.
When I grow up (I'm 49) I would love a track Sud.
I have a track 166 2.5 which kind of fell into the role (saved it from the crusher).
It's good fun but too big for our local track which suits a smaller more nimble car...
