Hi Brian, - choice of two, -I've a 145 gearbox, 4.11: 1 final drive and 10 bolt, and the 33 1.3 gearbox, 4.11:1 and 10 bolt diff, I'll send you a pm with more info.

I have one out of a series 3 33, - it had the 1.3 engine in it, and is definately 4.1:1, - I will check whether its 10 bolt or 8 bolt this weekend.

I've just measured 3 bare blocks that I have here, all later - 1982 ish and later, and all measure 42mm from the mounting face to the back of the waterpump housing. So probably the second one that you list Chris, - or buy both and I'll buy the one that you dont use !

There are two types of water pump, one type fits up to 1976 cars, I think, and fits deeper into the block, after '76 they are all the same, - I think this is the case, it's a long time since this cropped up !

The konis are for series 3 33, 1990 - 1994, but will fit if you use series 3 top mounts, the diameter of the top end of the damper rod is smaller than your Sprint, - and series 2 33 ones - and will be a very poor fit into the rubber mount. However, series 3 top mounts are the same 4 bolt pattern and...

The series 1 'screens with the rubber seal and stainless insert are definitely slightly smaller than the later series 2/3 'screens without the stainless trim. I don't know about the early series 1 bonded 'screens, but I would imagine they would be bigger as there is no rubber to accommodate. cheers,...
