Thanks for the update.
This photo shows how low mine sat. It shook your fillings out. The car did six miles like that. (MOT station and back) then i fitted the standard ones back on.
Bit low alright. I LOVE the orange!

Re: 1984 Alfasud Gold Cloverleaf Shock absorbers/dampers

Your car is sitting really nice now. How does it feel on the road. I tried some on mine once and it was too low for me and was too hard on the road. I sold them to a guy who fitted them to his 33. Often wondered about the Sudshop ones. It feels nice and tight (the old lowering springs had become ve...

Holy thread resurrection Batman! As an advertising sales man, income is down too so in fairness the car/hobby fund was hit a little but not lots. I've fettled a few of my fle...

The hub bolt holes can be elongated to allow the angle between hub and strut to be altered enough to correct camber, that's how I did mine on advice from people in the know 8-)
I'll try and dig some shots out.
Thanks Kev, very well known and liked specialist here in the ROI did recommend that.

Re: compbrake top strut mounts

I've a road going 1984 Sud Gold Cloverleaf that is lowered and has too much negative camber up front.
Any reasonably priced solution for top mounts?
Or has anyone created adjustable camber at the bottom of the strut?

Hands up who last worked on a twin leading shoe brake system? Laverda 750 GTL. Best of all I worked on one years ago as the brakes were poor. Took it to Ferodo competition shop and they said the original material was HGV stuff, so they matched the materials up with new and the first time I used the...
