Re: New Alfa on Saturday.....

Lovely car Chris, I'm a big fan of the Giulietta and Mito - fab looking cars in my opinion.

We need to arrange a Midlands meeting soon at The Great Northern to show off your new car!

Will you be going to Race Retro on Sunday Feb the 28th to meet up with the other CAF members?

All the best,
Julian.

Re: Alfasud Expertise Required

Thanks for the reply Tim. I'm currently thinking that joining the 3 Ti Spoiler pieces together and fastening the side pieces on with rivnuts is probably the easiest solution. I've managed to find an excellent old thread on the subject from Liam, were he's done a fantastic job in modifying an S1 Ti S...

Hi Tim, Sorry to hear about your crank problem. :(

Let me know if there's anything that I can do to help. (Extra pair of hands to assist with an engine replacement for instance)

Re: CTCRC Race Car Suspension Setup

Thanks very much Tim, excellent information and advice. Hi Bryan - Yes, I'm trying to put all of the right pieces together to make a CTCRC Pre-83 Class D (or possibly Class X dependent on Engine/Bodywork Spec) compliant car. I can't let you chaps have all of the fun - I want to join the party too! :D

CTCRC Race Car Suspension Setup

Hi Chaps, I'm hoping that people running their cars in the CTCRC Pre-83 Series won't mind sharing their suspension setups please. The Regulations state the following: 5.8 Suspension: 5.8.1 General Suspension type as fitted by the manufacturer must remain unaltered. 5.8.2 Suspension Components a. Wit...

Alfasud Expertise Required

Hi All, A few questions which I'm hoping you clever guys can help answer please: 1) Would an Alfasud S1 Ti 3 piece rear spoiler fit an S3 3 door car without too much modification or ill fitting around the rear light area? 2) How easy is an S3 Ti Body kit to fit on an S3 non Ti 3 Door car (What drill...

I was also fortunate enough to meet Simon and see his fabulous Trofeo in the flesh today - All I can say is WOW - What a fabulous car!

I'd also like to thank Tom and BLS for their time and hospitality today - Tom really is the fountain of all knowledge on Boxer engines.

Re: The Puzzle Post!

Good one Bryan, The rear lights are from a MK1 Cortina which could suggest a 60's race car with a Ford connection?

Looks quite bespoke so maybe a special one off TVR as they were also using the MK1 Cortina lights on their 60's Grantura MkIV around this time.

Anywhere near?
