Any suggestions on why this might have happened and any remedies for the cause? Good quality oil always used and changed regularly Oil seals on inlets only but inlet...

Re: 1980 Sud Super
Hi all Quick update. Electrics parked at the moment whilst I sort out engine. 1350 engine I had turned out needed a rebuild. Bores worn so new pistons, block chemical dip to clean all the gunk out and a light skin on both heads and faces to give the new head gaskets the best chance. Luckily crank wa...

Thanks Loo😊😊 The car came with a 1.7 twin carb that hadn't run in 20yrs. Turned over ok though. It was only when I tried to time everything up to do the chambers I found out timing was all wrong. Took the head off and found the bent valves. At the moment plan is to put a single carb 1350 back in. I ...

It certainly has been. It was supposed to be a quick flip. My problem is i f I'm not happy with something I can't ignore it. That's why it's ended up being a complete mechanical strip and rebuild. The good thing is the shell is really solid. Not that technically minded but if I can sort out posting ...

I think it you were careful you could probably do the event for about £10000 including entry fee.
I wouldn't mind betting that the top boys you could put another 0 on it.

Hi Lou Guy called Dale Glover. Comes from over Brunswick direction who does his engine. It's a 1400 8 valve from memory with about 150bhp limited to 8000 rpm but power hadn't started to drop in power at that point. Car is pretty unique but all my info is secondhand. Middle bulkhead has been removed ...

RAC rally 2023

It does allow more modern cars but entry mainly made up of period cars or earlier. This year in amongst the many ...
