Re: Sprint spares

Hi Kev Yes, all good but I'm now selling lots of stuff! I really enjoyed my second Alfa stint with the three Sprints (8v, 16V and 24V) but am now back into steam train stuff on the Great Central Railway. Still doing engines - with Boscastle and rusty bodywork with 16T mineral wagons - Windcutters. :o

Re: Sprint 6C

Just as an update the Sprint 6C has been sold a couple of times with no work done. It now is at Luden Automotive and there is a video on You Tube of the engine starting and revving a bit. Hopefully they will be doing a refurb.

Re: Sprint 6C - Sale

Just to update this, I was trawling through the internet and "You Tube" and discovered that the 6C is now with "Luden Automotive" - who intend to bring it back to good order. They do classic and "interesting" car renovation and restoration so I am pleased that the 6C is going to be "looked after".

Re: The future of classics.

I'm sure "Our beloved old cars" will still be around, used and appreciated for many many years to come. The supply of parts for many classics is probably better than cars of more recent times! Also classic parts are simpler and more easily manufactured.

Re: It begins...

Good work on getting your Sprint to this stage. Looking at the earlier posts re the repair sections from Peter, I think they might have come from one of my cars, which ended up at Peters, as it was declared "uneconomic to repair" after I had sold it with the 16v engine installed but unfinished. Nice...
