Re: NZ Sud

My understanding, from a previous owner, is that it is a series two (with original single carb engine) with plastic bumpers from series 3 fitted from new.

NZ Sud

Since you're all looking at Suds for sale:

https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars ... f=7Lugb4ec

I think that works out to just over 11,000 pounds.

Cheers!

Re: 1974 Giulia Twin Spark Project

A friend has just completed a twinspark Guilia like this. He has set it up to look like a standard Guilia Ti. Awesome sleeper. Being so light, it's really quick and nimble.

Thanks, but now that I have the UK "export" sorted, I'll stick to that. Plus he was wanting 500 euro which is quite a bit more than 200 pounds!

Re: Gearbox

Drop the whole engine and gearbox. I now have a hoist that makes it trivial but before that worked out a simple method using an engine hoist. You do have to get under the car to get to the gearbox mount but other than that you just unbolt the front cross member and the front gearbox mount. Use the e...

Re: P4 Viscous Coupler

So, two and a half years later, I still don't have a viscous coupler. NZ is hard so I've worked on that problem first. I have a friend with a parts contact in the UK so it will just need freight within country, I have been using the car in the meantime but vehicle testing have decided that removing ...

Have you had any luck? I'm also interested.

What I've found so far is that the front suspension is the same as a regular 33 but the rear suspension is different and made of unobtainium!

Re: P4 Viscous Coupler

What does the P4 electro magnetic coupler look like? I may be missing this as well. Here's what I have IMG_0077.JPG I'm needing at least one new mount but I was anticipating getting the upgrade offered by Alfa Restorations. I have a friend putting together a parts shipment later in the year so keen ...

Yes please! (I tried replying earlier but it must have got lost).

I'm planning on getting the "new improved" brackets and potentially reinforcing the mounting points.

So, what would *you* like for Christmas?

P4 Viscous Coupler

My P4 has had its 4WD system removed from service but all parts except the Viscous Coupler came with the car. If I can get this piece of rockinghorse p** I can get the P4 back to original!

Any one have one sitting doing nothing?
