Gaz said they did not make them. Mine is the later sprint compatible with the 33. It’s a 1988 1.7.

Not having much luck, cannot find any equivalents for sale new or anyone who would re-build the Boges. Posted a wanted requested, if anyone has any ideas of where to get replacements please let me know.

Looking for shock absorbers for a 1988 Sprint 1.7 or 33 905. Mine currently has BOGE's (549122 front) would like same/equivalent new or Koni's that could be re-built.

Front and rear needed if possible, cant find these anywhere!

To be honest no idea, I believe they are the standard units. Is there an easy way to check?

Seems like loads of confusing info out there, sites offer fronts not rears, obscure makes i've never heard of - rebuild this and that.

Can anybody clear up which new shocks (front and rear) are suitable for a late sprint, sporty adjustable or standard - and where to buy them.

It could well be the reset button, is it a push or twist to reset? i've never tried it, guess this can be done without being connected.

Exhaust ich stopped. Power steering ich still needs sorting, but the rust appearing might put a stop to that for a while!

This is the only pic I could find of the exhaust itself, plenty of videos but you can’t see much. Looks like it just goes straight on the standard manifold and the silencers are a lot smaller. I’ve got a full SS exhaust from a 33 that justsuds sold me (made by Pickerings apparently?) looks a bit lar...

Anyone know if you can still buy these, or there is a similar design available from another producer?

Unfortunately not heard back from Thor but managed to locate one in Portugal. Had some language issues but hopefully i’ll Receive the correct side next week.

I’ll need plenty more parts so will reach out to Thor again, better to have a closer supply and the Dutch generally speak great English.

One last question, the mechanisms had some kind of spongey gasket covering half of the mech.

Should I replace this, if so any ideas with what or should I leave it off? Seems to me that it just traps water.

Great, will do. On one side the bit to fit the pipe to rusted off! will need to try and fashion something out of fiber glass. Was thinking i could line the bucket and poke some through to make the pipe fitting.

When I reinstall the mechanisms should I stuff the things full of grease? I’ve got some cv joint grease, would this be ok or I have a spray silicone grease.

Interested to know if putting early sprint chrome bumpers on a late sprint would work without lots of changes?

Damn, planned on doing this myself this weekend. Thought it would be easy.

My wipers are super slow so thinking a bit of cleaning up would help.
