Re: Introduction Alfa Romeo 33 1.3vl

Hi FD great to see another 33 907 on the forum. As Kev has kindly pointed out I owned a 905 33 when I was not much older than yourself (somany years to ago) as a daily driver and it literally went everywhere, and yes including upside down in a ditch, but it lived to tell the tale. Anyways having str...

I was followed through my home town by a new Giulia QV whilst returning from a car meet in Lincoln in the 33. The driver gave a very enthusiastic wave and thumbs up when I turned off. I wonder if he wanted to swap???

Now that even looks tiny next to the RS2000. Is there even enough room for a passenger?
Just imagine driving that on a motorway with the current crop of SUV's and 4x4's, but at least you would be able to park it easily in a multi story car park.

Re: Size matters

It's just ridiculous how big cars have got, to have the roof at the same level as a modern SUVs' window is just crazy. It is when we are supposed to be saving resources and the planet and what about all that plastic! Yep, and when you live down small country lanes even a bicycle is left with...

I have seen this mentioned on here before, but when I parked my 33 at an outlet center at the weekend there were no cars near me but one our return I couldn't find it for love nor money and here's the reason why.

Re: general chat thread

Yep got to agree Kev, I have never watched cricket on tv before but was at the mother in laws and didn't know where to be, in the kitchen was the tennis and the living room the cricket, ended up watching the cricket with 12 overs to go, awesome drama but could have so easily gone the other way. That...

Hi Gary. First time I have seen this website that you have shared links of damn you, never seen so many 33s for sale on one website, 98 of them. Got me all excited last night and even got me thinking of another project..... Then I looked at 155s and it all started again. So I might have to block the...

Re: C&CCC Article on Supercharged 33s

Very interesting, I used to have a S1 1490 on 13s, which looked very much like the 1300 in the pics, back in the late 80s. Never even considered turbo or supercharger for the boxer engines in the past.
Great article though and thanks for posting.

Re: My new project, finally got my integrale.

Thanks for the explanation and now you have mentioned it I do recall seeing some kind of linkage a couple of years back when I dropped in to see it at Jim's place but never put two and two together. Just having watched the Car S.O.S. episode on catch up this week, I saw that they dropped and therefo...

Re: My new project, finally got my integrale.

Just looking at the brake servo and master cylinder I just can't help thinking 1, how low in the engine bay it seems to be and 2, with it on the left hand side must mean that there are some complicated linkage involved, as the pedals are on the right, which I guess are there already, so would it not...

Re: Spring Alfa Day 2018.

I'm hoping mine should be fine as I did a trip to work and back the other week having been in the garage all winter.
But will check the oil before we go, as it did use a bit on the Italy trip.
