Re: Wave
I was followed through my home town by a new Giulia QV whilst returning from a car meet in Lincoln in the 33. The driver gave a very enthusiastic wave and thumbs up when I turned off. I wonder if he wanted to swap???

Re: general chat thread
Yep got to agree Kev, I have never watched cricket on tv before but was at the mother in laws and didn't know where to be, in the kitchen was the tennis and the living room the cricket, ended up watching the cricket with 12 overs to go, awesome drama but could have so easily gone the other way. That...

Hi Gary. First time I have seen this website that you have shared links of damn you, never seen so many 33s for sale on one website, 98 of them. Got me all excited last night and even got me thinking of another project..... Then I looked at 155s and it all started again. So I might have to block the...

Re: C&CCC Article on Supercharged 33s
Very interesting, I used to have a S1 1490 on 13s, which looked very much like the 1300 in the pics, back in the late 80s. Never even considered turbo or supercharger for the boxer engines in the past.
Great article though and thanks for posting.

Thanks all
I will be on the phone tomorrow then.
And as I intend to keep the 33 I may well take you up on the offer of the loft filler Lou. Let me know the score if you locate it.

Desperately need to source a new window screen for my S3 33 has mine has a 2ft long crack in it and the MOT is due end of the month. It the bonded type I need. Any leads, or numbers of people who might know of one anywhere in the UK. Autoglass have taken nearly a month and £75 of my money, to dicide...

Be great to see the P4 up and running, keep us updated with progress. Loads of advice on here as I found when doing my 33 qv.
What's the plan for it, keep as original, modify, colour? or yet to dicide.

Funny enough I was reading online today . Alfa are back in f1 next year with sauber . They will be their main sponsor plus give technical support. 8-) Ferrari will supply new engines too. Great news me thinks :D I was reading that too John, ironic that Ferrari started F1 racing with Alfa Romeo Cars...

Re: The Puzzle Post!
All makes sense to me now, interesting how the Xtrac has the same layout, but I guess it is because the majority of the cars using it were like the Delta, only originally designed as front wheel drive cars. Am I also correct in thinking the 155 4x4 has the same drive train layout as the Delta Integr...

Re: The Puzzle Post!
Ah so is this similar to your Delta gearbox we were talking about yesterday? This however looks like the transfer box is all part of the same casting as the bell housing, is that the same as the Delta's or is the delta's a separate part as it seemed as we were talking. No doubt it will have a full r...

Wow that's pretty special. Love the fact it has MTB suspension on the rears, similar on the front or something different given steering is important too
let us know how it fairs in the event.

Wow alot of miles . Glad it went great apart from the window ;) think it's inspired all of us :D Thanks John, Window is a minor issue and it wouldn't have been an Alfa road trip without something like that happening I guess, sort of adds to the adventure. So I take it you will be coming next time. ...

Re: Road trip Italian GP
Credit to you as although there is no reason, lots of people would not take a car that age that far in such a short time. Good effort. :D Great photo's too. No worries I have enjoyed sharing with you all. Yes we set the trip meter before we left and being an Alfa I am sure it's very accurate. Nearly at Calais as I type so not long left now. Just one small hiccup in that the passenger window regulator has broken just now as we paid the final toll. Draugh...
