Re: Very early Sud 4 door on Ebay UK - new pics added

That really is worth saving, these early UK registered 4 doors really are almost extinct. Its not been messed around with either.

Only with I had the expertise to restore it
Some of you do of course....mentioning no names naturally.....

Not necesarilly the case. There is a black Sprint 105 QV that has also been for sale for ages, advertised at 12.5k. This only has 20k miles on it and hasn't sold yet. The white sprint referred to here is absolutely superb as I have also seen it - I can't imagine a better one- and its been hanging ar...

Re: Loss of a true Alfasud enthusiast and dear friend.

Met Nick briefly just a couple of times, Shelsley Walsh, 2010 where I admired his bonnie little green 'Sud and Ripon 2012, when he came without 'sud. Can honestly say from a very short time in his company that he was an exceptionally pleasant fella. Its all been said already but very sorry to hear a...

Re: My Sud Super restoration project

Looking fantastic, can't wait to see this car when its finished. Will be particularly evocative for me as will bring back memories of my dads 1980 1.5 Super in this colour. This car I feel will be without question be one of the most interesting 'suds known to the forum. It's great that a Super is be...

As everyone says god luck with the sale Col, it really is a little beauty, lets hope it does well I know you've put a lot of time money, expertise and love into it-and it was a pretty good car to start with. Loving the picture of the old series 1 back in '88, even back then a series 1 ti was a prett...

Hi Alfasam, Looking forward to seeing your lovely Super out soon. I had a quick look at the thread looks like a truly terrific job you're doing. Any chance we'll see it at a show in 2016? Regarding 'Sud prices, it's always an interesting topic, and as a 'Sud owner myself I don't really mind if they ...

Re: Summer Sud meet

MITCAR was a great day last year and think it was mooted on the day that it might be a regular thing for the annual 'sud gathering, being a good starting point to get both the cars from the North and the South together. It was certainly the biggest 'Sud gathering since 09 and I think everyone that w...

Haha Veesix75... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you don't realise I have a yellow 'sud with beige seats.

Love this Sprint, best sprint model too in my opinion.

Some nice Sprints for sale at the moment, love that green one on car and classic too. Think it sold now, was up for about 11k.

If that mileage is genuine it has to go down as an absolute bargain.

Less than a thousand miles though. What would you do with it, would you want to drive it anywhere? Even a few hundred a year?

Nowt wrong with the Colour!

Now that does look really lovely To me that's probably the ultimate sprint. The 1.5 twin carb 95bhp engine, the pure shape with the stainless steel bumpers and the steel wheels, even in red! Black and white garage. Where do they keep finding em? 14K is a lot of money for any 'sud you could make a ca...

Hi Ben. That's a lovely sud and remarkable that you've owned it since new, you must have really looked after it. Most cars bought new that year were no dount scrapped in the mid to late 80s. Yeah those 2 black 'suds look bonny together alright. The book was something Colin Metcalfe was writing back in 2011, from what I can gather he did a lot of work on it. His idea was to get good examples of Series 1, 2 and 3 ti's together with a Sprint Veloce for a photoshoot at Buleigh Motor museum,...

Yeah £5300, it seems to be what a very good 'Sud goes for. That white one went for 4400 I think recently. Whilst they're criminally undervalued I have seen very little evidence of any Sud going for more than £5500-6000, however good it is. Maybe a mint or concourse series 1 Ti might make 7 or even 8...
