Good news on Subaru airbags, I had a replacement fitted yesterday at local dealer.

So no longer have to remind front seat passengers that in the event of an accident, DUCK before the airbag gets you!

No these are the OE airbags made by Takata in Japan, I think it affects over 10 m cars worldwide. I was told by local Subaru dealer last July. When I have rung back to check progress they just say "Subaru are still working on it and they will contact me as soon as they know something". So ...
