Re: The importance or not of fuelling.

I read Eddie Irvines autobiography once when he talked about racing a single seater Alfa engined car, and when they went to japan the fuel was 100 ron, and he led all weekend and the race, since then I always try and get the 98. A few years back a local garage still sold leaded petrol but it was blo...

Re: Another eBay Sud!

I have never seen so many suds come up for sale in one year, there are loads coming out of the woodwork, I'm not sure if that's a good thing, some folks think they are sitting on a car worth more than it actually is, that said it's interesting to see what the market is like. I have decided I don't h...

Re: Alfasud Super up for grabs

fIt looks nice but i dislike it when people quote well another car sold for x amount, it probably did because it was worth it, I've been to see loads of cars where the sellers are in dreamland because of the price others have sold for.

Sorry to divert here, but do you have a number for John? Someone from Alfashop gave me a number for someone called Karl at justsuds, I've spoken to him and he seems very helpful, but no one else I've spoken to knows him, maybe he's on this forum. In any case he seemed cool.

Re: Sud Brakes

Thanks Chaps, I get the impression in the last 6 years the car had had little spent on it. I'm having my mechanic give it a once over in a week or so. I do hate cheap crappy brake discs, are they easy to get hold of. I have been in the world of 145's and alfetta's for a long time so am out of touch ...

Sud Brakes

Folks as some of you have probably tackled this before, The 1.5 green cloverleaf I have has tired brakes, I have to stamp on them to stop. Is there anyway to make the inboard set up work well without spending a fortune in upgrades or complicated replacement set up. I am considering new discs and pad...

That sud looks great, Have you had much response? I may have to sell mine soon and I will price it accordingly, but my worry is there are not enough buyers out there with the balls to own or appreciate the model.

Re: Want 3 original Alfetta wheels?

Actually, a friend of mine thought he saw a red car at the local pikey area in London, I went to the police with a photo of my car, and they escorted me down there to check out the area kind of immediately, I was most surprised, blue lights and all, the local pikeys didn't like it, but all we found ...

Suspension

Folks, can you help and tell me, where or if I could get suspension parts for the SUD S3, at some point I would like to refresh the suspension as it feels a bit tired and old, I'm not sure what parts are still relatively available, I'm thinking shocks springs, bushes.

Thanks

Re: Alfasud Green Cloverleaf for sale

Thanks Alfasud driver funnily enough the passenger window on mine doesn't go up and down either at all. A bit stiff it said in the ad, here are a couple of pics of the car, I had a lovely 200 mile drive at the weekend and the car goes well, engine sounds fine, what a cracking noise, I had to replace...
