As said before there is a guy on the alfa164register.nl Who does them exchange about £100 or so inluding the postage he replaces the multi cable that supplies the display and checks them over He really seems to know what he's doing. He swpeaks english so no problems there . Might be worth giving him...

There is a person who does this via the dutch alfa 164 register but no I don't know off anyone in the UK. the guy on the dutch site will do it and charges about £100 exchange. I think what the main issue is with the unit that the multi strap cabling is of poor quality and gives internal power issues...
