Hi Dave!
After a few Alfas I thought I knew how to do DDC! . It is getting worse, though. I’m going to focus hard on those changes!
As for fuses. Nothing is mentioned in the Haynes manual and I can’t read wiring diagrams. I’m hoping for a pointer….
Cheers!

Return of Steve5M and the GTV6
A big hello to everyone! I’ve been away for a while. I still have the same GTV6 but I sold the Sud Sprint some time ago. During COVID I took the GTV6 off the road and it was unused for quite a while. When I came to fire it up again it was knackered. It went off to AJM for the summer and he sorted ou...

Thanks for the replies!
I’m after a general manual. Got to have a go at front suspension….
Don’t stand on ceremony. If you want to get one of these don’t wait for me.

Sorry to wake everyone up but….
…are there any good 116 series GTV6 workshop manuals? The Haynes one doesn’t really cover the V6 coupe.
Hope yr all well. My GTV6 is back on the road and moving well but I need to do same work and the manual I have is based on the saloon.

GTV6 prices....
I've just looked on Car and Classic and there are 4 GTV's all over £20k and 2 over £25k
What the hell happened to prices? Last time (2015) I checked my baby was worth £7.5k
Confused!
Not that I'm selling!

Re: Sud or Sprint
Exactly how I would describe it, Dave. It's good fun to drive. For a Road car there's a bit still to do but for the track it is good to start the project. I had the rear shocks replaced last year, it has new tyres, a front driveshaft was replaced and I put the green carpet in it. No engine or gearbo...

Re: Sud or Sprint
photos look better than RL but is basically sound and runs well. It was stripped for a track car, sold before completed, rebuilt as a road car by AlfaDave on here, bought by me and subsequently given to my Son. It would have failed MOT in Jan on electrics so I sorned it and it has been sitting ever ...

Re: Sud or Sprint
Might have a sprint that satisfies this requirement. It is actually my lads but he's not using the sprint and it's been on sorn since last spring. It works fine but has an electrical issue with lights and wipers - prob the switch gear on the steering column. He doesn't look like fixing it and I woul...

Re: Road trip Italian GP
I can tell you about my drive to Tuscany in 2015 if it helps. I took my 1986 Alfetta GTV6. We drove through France into Italy and back again taking our time. My biggest observation is that driving through France the novelty of driving a classic car soon fades. You spend most of the day on the motorw...

Quick question re oil pressure
Sprint 1.5 QV 95bhp Car has been healthy. Used a bit of oil but nothing major. Oil pressure (when revved or under load) showing at just above 55 on the gauge. Its been dropping and is now a little way below 55 under similar conditions. Oil level is ok. Best guesses at what may be going on? A virtual...

Re: Sud front wheel bearings, how to change
I was very lucky! I purchased the Sprint off Alfadave with a bunch of parts including 2 x hubs. These popped straight on and the car is back on the road. I hope I don't have to face this problem again!
