Re: Sud or Sprint
Exactly how I would describe it, Dave. It's good fun to drive. For a Road car there's a bit still to do but for the track it is good to start the project. I had the rear shocks replaced last year, it has new tyres, a front driveshaft was replaced and I put the green carpet in it. No engine or gearbo...

Re: Sud or Sprint
photos look better than RL but is basically sound and runs well. It was stripped for a track car, sold before completed, rebuilt as a road car by AlfaDave on here, bought by me and subsequently given to my Son. Re: Road trip Italian GP
I can tell you about my drive to Tuscany in 2015 if it helps. I took my 1986 Alfetta GTV6. We drove through France into Italy and back again taking our time. My biggest observation is that driving through France the novelty of driving a classic car soon fades. You spend most of the day on the motorw...

I decided to google and found ...

Re: Sprint alternator
Just in case anyone's following this and intending to buy one of these......
They called today. The item listed is no longer available. They have sourced an identical replacement from Denmark for an extra £30. So, £79 plus a £48 refundable 'alternator surcharge'. Lead time is 14 days.
