I think I have one it was from shrew it was meant to be for a sud took nearly year before we finally arranged to meet up got it back and it didn’t fit it’s to tall so we think it must be a sprint one . I’m down on the south coast

Air speed is more important than volume which is why over sized carbs run rough . Small carbs will have a high air speed over jets so pull more fuel and mix better where a large carb will have a slower air flow do pull less fuel .large carbs for top end power small for bottom end grunt so it’s slway...

Definitely better than digging by hand as dug out a good 30cm to keep roof low as didn’t want to upset neighbours

Not to much to report on restoration but I’ve used it to dig out a shed base but excessive but good fun and shed is not exactly small

I need a s3 screen as the one I got after taking nearly a year to collect is a sprint one I think
So if yours is a s3 screen I would be interested and you can put money towards a new one I think pilkinton are around £300 to make a new one so not the end of the world

Orthopaedic Very happy with recovery got ok to get on turbo trainer and not told off for no sling or back brace basically carry on and do as much as I can before it hurts but signed off for another three weeks . Back driving have to lift hand on to gear lever but can change gear driving mito but not...

Getting there staples out 34 in shoulder 10 in ankle nurse had never removed so many in one go not sur if that’s a good thing

Yes customer would never even be told it was done during a service or if they complain of tyre wear they really needed solid bushes to stop movement
So if any one has a stillo or Fiat multiplier polybush the front end would help no end

My kids have been giving me greave for doing it but ankle is pinned and fully stable it was only a hair line fracture in France I was told three times it wasn’t broken . It never showed on X-ray only on one picture out of 12 from ct scan showed fracture think surgeon wanted a bit of practice plaster...

Apart from fiat stillos it was a factory fix for tyre wear to loosen lower arm bolts whilst on ramp and retorque bolts bushes where so soft it would preload them and stiffen them up Same works for a lot of Audi’s and vdubs with multi link suspension with knocking noises you can’t find But as a gener...

This is where it all started first gap was fine but hit to hard landed on wooden gap and did manual whole length which was impressive landed it some how and stayed on but just couldn’t scrub enough speed before gap jump and went over side ways with bike into a large gully and drop and landed on only...

Bikes good I think I’ve not got it back paint a bit chipped it’s only a few weeks olds so will put in a claim for riding kit and bike damage transfer home was about £8000 and everything is covered so might as well claim for any damage good job I took extreme cover not my free Europe cover I get with...

As if I need anymore excuses for not finishing anything of mine always doing customers cars I had a little off in tignes I’ve got three cd worth of scans and X-rays I could show All I can say is thankfully I went for extreme travel insurance and I’m waiting for UK transfer to drive me home at 9 this...

As kev said pictures would be good I did check the mot history and no previous advisory’s on rust so it been hiding under the sealer it’s floors and inner sills that it failed on

Fitting the bonnet showed up a obvious mistake and why paint was burnt on the bonnet the exhaust I made went straight up but hole in Bonnet is offset forward so exhaust box is hidden underneath so I brought a new correct one

Picked up matching wheel for the front and a ram to replace leaking one have been doing bits to it like welding bonnet hinge back one new alternator and correct exhaust hoping to paint some of it when weather gets better had planed to fit wheel and ram over Easter but weather looks wet all weekend

Diode pack will cause drain diodes are basically a one way valve for electricity . The alternator on my sud is the front part of the original Bosch one with the rear and insides from a vw do it’s now 60 or 70 amps can’t remember exactly or what model it came from but it’s a lot better than 45amp ori...

I’ve got lots to say on wax and polish but it’s not got here there’s lots of forums for sort of arguments I’m all for car cleaning but put the word detailing in and I’m of on a rant same for technicians I’m happy to be a called a grease monkey or mechanic

Just been looking at mot history likes wiper blades and tyres sounds like rack or column needs looking at and it’s been a year since test but looks nice and clean would be interested depending where you are based
